Let's see the different face type's:
Oval - This is the best face type from all, which supports almost every hairstyle and you could be lucky if you have one. You can make them grow long, short and or mid length. It just looks perfect. This is the shape everyone desires to have.
Square - This type of face is actually broader near the chin and forehead and thus making it more squarish, for this type i would suggest short or mid-length as to minimize the broadness of the forehead and make it look slightly oval. Let the hairs fall on the edges of your forehead and slightly cover your forehead more or less.
Rectangle - This type is similar to the previous with little more height to it. I hope you guys can understand without much confusion. For this type i would recommend long hairs, as it will stick with the length of your face and give a feeling of reduced face length.
Angular - Angular faces have broad cheeks with pointed chin. Mid-length best suits this face anotomy.
Circular - The name itself describes how the face would be like. I strongly recommend a long or mid-length and say BIG NO to short length. As short hairs tend to make your face look more bigger and bubbly. It's the least desirable type for both genders.
You can keep experimenting with different hairstyles and understand the best that suits you, as there is no harm in experimenting. But remember not to overdo and use common sense. I may have asked to experiment, that doesn't mean you cut your them so short that it takes month's to get them back to where they were. Make sure they suit your personality. Remember that a college guy has more options to experiment than that of an employee.
For example: The CEO of some company can't just give different cuts, like a college student. In such cases you can try to improvize. This post is to assist you in choosing the correct style based on your face type and it's not a rule. Having a great style can make you feel great. So go and get a nice makeover, as they are the most integral part of fashion. If you are bald than there's not much that can be done. Proper grooming is essential, as they keep them live longer. Keep Rocking...
